Professor Douglas Husak from Rutgers University presentation – The Partisan Politics of Overcriminalization – was the segue to a panel discussion on the topic of mass incarceration, also featuring Doug Burris, Chief United States Probation Officer for the Eastern District of Missouri, and Thomas Utterback, Critical Analyst Consultant.
This symposium addressed initiatives and related opportunities for policy research and guidance of particular interest to community leaders, business practitioners, human resources professionals and academicians seeking to better understand ‘ban the box’ legislation in Missouri.
Coming Together to Support Re-Entry and Entrepreneurship
Local community leaders, faculty, staff, and students attended an informative, engaging event at Lindenwood University in St. Charles. The session featured a wide variety of panel discussions and dinner with Chef Jeff Henderson as the keynote speaker.
