The Hammond Institute was well-represented among the winners at Lindenwood University's annual Faculty and Staff Council Awards and Recognition Ceremony, held May 4 in the J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts.

President’s Scholar-Teacher Award

Howard Wall, Professor of Economics, Director of the Center for Applied Economics

Presented to the faculty member who most effectively merges professional scholarship and effective pedagogy.

Scholar of the Year Award

Joy Peluchette, Senior Professor of Management, Business Scholarship Forum Research Fellow

Presented to the faculty member who exhibited the highest level of professional scholarship during the present and prior academic years.

Professor of the Year Award

Joseph Steineger, Assistant Professor of Philosophy, Hammond Institute Student Engagement Coordinator

Presented by the Lindenwood Student Government, whose leadership selects the winner from a list of faculty nominated by their fellow students.
